FMC provides Certified Food Manager exams and training in California for Food Safety Manager Certification and Food Protection Manager Certifiation

Food Managers and those seeking to become Food Managers in California can take advantage of the EduClasses FMC Food Managers Certification program at www.foodmanagerscertification.com/california.

In California, food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, except temporary food facilities, shall have an owner or employee who has successfully passed an approved and accredited food safety certification examination as specified in Sections 113947.2 and 113947.3. of the CA Health & Safety Code §113947.

The California Certified Food Manager program is a proctored exam as required by ANAB for ANAB-CFP and per the California Food Code.  FMC is proctored by Prometric Test Centers, Prometric ProProctor remote proctor services.  FMC has also been equiped to offer on site proctor services by EduProctors.  EduProctors are approved individual proctors who have taken the training and become approved proctors for the FMC Food Managers Certification ANAB-CFP Certified Food Manager Exam.

California FDA food code notes the owner or manager need not be present at the food facility during all hours of operation. California allows 60 days for new owners or food managers to become CFPM (Certifed Food Protection Manager) certified.

To become a certified food protection manager, individuals must pass a food protection manager certification exam from an ANAB approved provider such as FMC Food Managers Certification by EduClasses.
